Job summary

China CITIC Bank International in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned credit professional to assess and approve secured lending proposals in line with bank policies and local regulatory requirements. You will liaise with stakeholders, help update processing procedures, identify potential credit risks, and support frontline operations while adhering to AML/CFT controls and CNCBI standards.

Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience and a degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management or related fields are

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines preferred.
• 4–5 years' experience in credit assessment and secured lending.
• Knowledge of retail banking lending products and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Chinese word processing.
• Good command of English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit review, recommendations and approval to credit proposals of mortgage/secured lending.
• Liaise with related parties to ensure prudent credit evaluation and timely assessment.
• Assist team head in updating processing procedures and guidelines for retail secured lending products.
• Identify potential credit risk and escalate to senior management as appropriate.
• Participate in projects relating to secured lending credit processing and perform user acceptance tests.
• Provide support in conducting regular credit reviews.
• Coordinate and provide administrative support to ensure timely processing and accuracy.
• Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with CNCBI policies.
• Demonstrates initiative to go beyond the normal routine and look for new ways to add value.
