Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited is hiring for a senior credit professional to conduct mortgage/secured lending evaluations in Hong Kong. You will review proposals, apply credit policies, and ensure compliance with local regulations while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years’ experience in credit assessment, a solid grasp of retail banking products, and strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years’ experience in credit assessment and processing of retail banking secured lending.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
• Familiar with application processing systems and UIs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit review, recommendations and approval for mortgage/secured lending.
• Access and approve lending applications per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties for new business and approvals.
• Review and update procedures for retail secured lending products.
• Participate in projects related to secured lending and provide guidance on credit issues.
• Support onboarding and training for new joiners on credit workflows.
• Drive improvements in efficiency, risk control and credit quality through systems.
• Handle other assignments and ad hoc projects as assigned.
• Support anti-money laundering controls per CNCBI policies.
• Demonstrate initiative to add value beyond routine tasks.
