Job summary

The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd invites applications for Principal IT Lead (Information Security) in Admiralty. Reporting to the Head of Information Security & Network Services, the appointee will lead enterprise technology strategy, architecture and operating models across information security and network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key duties include driving strategic technology programmes, sourcing, vendor management and service

Qualifications

• Minimum 14 years’ relevant experience in large-scale technology initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements, information security governance, audit, risk management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise technology strategy, architecture and operating models across information security and network infrastructure.
• Drive strategic technology programmes, including sourcing, vendor management and service governance.
• Manage the technology portfolio, investment priorities, budgets and roadmaps with emphasis on innovation (AI/automation).
• Lead major technology incidents and risk events as senior escalation point for communications, regulatory engagement and root cause analysis.

Principal IT Lead (Information Security) (Ref: IT-ISNS-PITL-IS-JD)

Reporting to the Head of Information Security & Network Services, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:

To lead enterprise technology strategy, architecture and operating models across information security and network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements and industry best practices

To drive strategic technology programmes, including sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation and service governance

To manage the technology portfolio, investment priorities, budgets and roadmaps, while promoting innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and automation

To lead the response to major technology incidents and risk events, serving as the senior escalation point for stakeholder communications, regulatory engagement, root cause analysis and resilience improvement initiatives

Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines

A minimum of 14 years’ relevant experience, with proven leadership in large‐scale technology initiatives, technology operations, infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, application support, or enterprise technology management

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements, information security governance, audit, risk management and compliance practices.

Holder of certification on CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, ITIL, PMP certification an advantage

Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
