Job summary

Hong Kong Housing Society is seeking an experienced professional to lead geotechnical, ground investigation and foundation works. You will implement policies, monitor progress and ensure quality across on-site activities, coordinating with project teams and external consultants.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in construction management with at least 5 years in a managerial role, strong knowledge of HK regulations, and a track record on residential projects. ความมั่นคงในงานและ优先考虑经验在地方法规方面。

Qualifications

• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil or Building Engineering or construction-related disciplines with professional qualifications such as MHKIE, MCIOB, MHKICM or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years' construction management experience with at least 5 years' managerial experience in geotechnical, GI and foundation works.
• Proven experience in geotechnical/construction or project management with exposure to residential projects (private/public sector).
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Buildings Ordinance, Codes of Practice and geotechnical standards.
• Solid expertise in geotechnical engineering, ground investigation and foundation construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies and procedures for geotechnical, ground investigation (G.I.) and foundation work and maintain site progress and quality records.
• Ensure contractors' compliance with quality standards via Integrated Quality System, including QA documentation reviews and testing supervision.
• Monitor site progress, identify delays, technical discrepancies and geological anomalies with timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate site teams to resolve technical, scheduling and resourcing issues and liaise with Project Managers, consultants and contractors for solutions.
