Job summary

Hong Kong Housing Society is seeking a senior geotechnical professional to lead site investigations, foundation design and on-site construction activities for residential projects. You will ensure compliance with HK regulations, monitor progress, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government authorities.

The role requires extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, GI and foundation works, with strong English and Cantonese communication and a track record of managing

Qualifications

• Degree in Geotechnical/ Civil or Building Engineering.
• Professional qualifications such as MHKIE, MCIOB, MHKICM or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Implement HKHS policies and procedures for geotechnical, G.I. and foundation work.
• Maintain accurate site progress and quality records.
• Monitor site progress, delays and geological anomalies; take corrective action.
• Coordinate site teams; resolve technical, scheduling and resourcing issues.
• Liaise with Project Managers, consultants and contractors for solutions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and Integrated Quality System.
• Oversee works handover, defect rectification and complaint follow-up.
• Ensure site safety and environmental requirements are met.
