Job summary

Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute invites a Senior Manager, Curriculum and Examinations (QAC) to lead examination quality assurance and governance, ensuring integrity, accuracy and security of assessments. You will drive analytics, contribute to policy development, and oversee accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Statistics, Education Measurement, Quality Management or related discipline
• At least 10 years in QA/assessment or audit; 5+ years in governance/QA leadership
• Hands-on psychometric or statistical analysis in exam bodies or regulators desirable
• Knowledge of examination development, assessment methodologies, and operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proven leadership with experience managing and developing teams
• High integrity, professionalism, and accountability
• Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Senior Manager, Curriculum and Examinations (QAC)

Reporting to the Director, Curriculum & Examinations, you will lead the Institute's examination quality assurance and control functions to ensure the integrity, consistency, accuracy, security, and reliability of all examinations and assessment activities.

Key Role and Responsibilities

• Own the Institute's quality assurance and governance framework, ensuring effective quality standards, controls, and continuous improvement


• Monitor examination quality and performance, providing insights and recommendations to management and relevant committees


• Lead psychometric analysis and assessment validity to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with learning outcomes and industry standards


• Safeguard examination integrity through proactive monitoring, investigation, and anomaly detection to identify irregularities, mitigate risks, and ensure fair, secure, and credible assessment processes


• Manage external accreditation and audit readiness by ensuring examination policies, procedures, controls, and records meet accreditation requirements; and drive continuous improvement arising from audit and accreditation findings


• Manage relationships with regulators, professional bodies, subject matter experts, and service providers


• Set KPIs, analytics and management reporting to monitor examination operations, assessment quality, candidate performance trends, and process efficiency, enabling timely identification of risks, anomalies, and improvement opportunities

Qualifications, Abilities and Experience Required

• Degree or above in Statistics, Education Measurement, Quality Management, or a related discipline


• At least 10 years of experience in quality assurance, assessment or audit, and minimum 5 years in governance or QA leadership role


• Hands-on psychometric or statistical analysis experience in a professional examination body, accreditation organisation, educational institution, or regulated industry is highly desirable


• Sound knowledge of examination development, assessment methodologies, and examination operations


• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail


• Proven leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams


• High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability


• Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools


• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
