Job summary

Sun Life Financial Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Process to drive digitalization of sales and servicing across SLF HK channels. You will study and map end-to-end processes, capture requirements, and document user stories for system implementations.

You will lead discussions with stakeholders, ensure governance, perform UAT, and provide post-implementation support for digital assets.

Qualifications

• University graduate with 8+ years in insurance/financial services.
• Experience as Business Analyst, Digital SMEs or BSAs preferred.
• Holder of agile methodology certification preferred.

Job Description:

• Develop required capabilities to digitalize sales and servicing processes across SLF HK channels
• Study, analyze and identify change areas for the end-to-end sales and servicing processes for various channel including but not limited to lead generation, financial needs analysis, sales illustration, electronic application, auto-underwriting, self-servicing.
• Lead and facilitate discussions to ensure business/function requirements well address business needs
• Document functional requirements, user stories for system implementation and operation
• Define, improve and maintain best-in-class business analysis practices
• Ensure all change requests are managed and approved in accordance with project governance
• Perform user acceptance test and post implementation system checking
• Provide support to all channels on all digital assets
• Proactively provide constructive advice to business and product owner to identify improvement areas
• Conduct end users training
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and bank partner to implement required system enhancement to cope with ongoing business needs

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of life operations, with MPF and bancassurance experience will be an advantage
• Experienced in end-to-end sales and servicing process digitalization
• Strong skills in business analysis (prepare user requirement document, perform user acceptance test, reporting etc.)
• Broad knowledge of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle, i.e. Scrum, Agile, waterfall
• Knowledge of business processes and change management
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and inter-personnel skills
• Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
• Proficient in both spoken & written English and Chinese

Qualifications

• University Graduate and above
• At least over 8 years of experience in Insurance industry or Financial Institute, candidate who have worked as Business Analyst, Digital SMEs or BSAs is preferred
• Holder of agile methodology certification is preferred
