Job summary

Pinpoint Asia is seeking a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to own production stability and modernization across a hybrid footprint. You will lead enterprise Linux systems and container platforms on VMware Tanzu, ESXi, and AWS, driving automation and efficiency.

The role requires 8–10 years of hands-on Linux admin experience, strong scripting skills, and a solid understanding of high-availability architectures. English and Chinese communication is essential for collaboration.

Qualifications

:8–10 years of hands-on Linux administration experience (RHEL) in high-availability enterprise environments.
Production experience managing containerized platforms (VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, or OpenShift).
Strong automation with Ansible and scripting in Bash, Python, or Perl.
Familiarity with HPE server hardware lifecycle management and VMware ESXi.
Solid understanding of SAN storage, clustering, and enterprise networking.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day production stability and contribute to modernization efforts.
Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize container platforms on VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
Design and implement configuration management and provisioning with Ansible and scripts.
Handle L1–L3 incident escalations, root-cause analysis, and capacity planning.
Plan weekend releases, maintenance windows, and DR/BCP exercises.
