Job summary

Alexis Services in Hong Kong seeks an experienced life underwriting professional to lead risk assessment and policy execution while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role supports guideline optimization, system enhancements, and sales enablement across channels.

You will deliver underwriting training, collaborate with internal teams, and maintain high accuracy under pressure, combining senior expertise with a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; related field is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on individual life underwriting experience.
• FLMI or ALU credentials are advantageous.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; AS/400 familiarity preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Independent, accurate, and collaborative under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Risk Assessment & Underwriting Execution for complex life cases within authority limits.
• Ensure compliance with daily underwriting processes and regulatory requirements.
• Review and optimize internal guidelines, manuals and practices.
• Support in development and testing of underwriting systems including UAT.
• Provide underwriting expertise to distribution channels and internal teams.
• Deliver training sessions to frontline sales staff and peers.
