Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited seeks a Senior Business Technology Manager for Life Insurance to lead IT projects end-to-end in the life insurance domain. You will manage requirements, design, development, testing, and delivery, coordinating with users, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met and risks mitigated.

The role requires 5+ years in business analysis or application development, strong bilingual communication, and the ability to adapt to changing business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Studies, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or in Application Development.
• Strong command of Chinese and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and implement IT projects for Life insurance business.
• Manage end-to-end project processes, including documentation, progress tracking, status reporting, and effective escalation.
• Collaborate with users, vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive system requirement analysis, effort estimation, design, development, implementation, and testing.
• Monitor project progress and communicate key milestones and issues to the project team.
• Identify project dependencies and potential risks, taking proactive measures to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
• Troubleshoot technical problems, propose solutions, and collaborate with developers or external parties to resolve complex issues.
• Liaise and coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
