Job summary

CMB International Capital Corporation Limited is seeking an experienced Settlement leader to oversee end-to-end clearing and settlement operations across global markets. You will manage daily workflows, ensure regulatory compliance with SFC and HKEX, and drive efficiency through process optimization.

You will lead a Settlement team, maintain KPIs, and collaborate with front-office, risk, and finance to resolve issues, liaise with HKSCC and HKEX, and ensure accurate, timely settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 10 years of experience in clearing, settlement or operations in HK securities.
• 5 years of experience managing a team, preferably cross-functional.
• Deep familiarity with multi-market/multi-asset lifecycle and HK regulatory framework (SFC, HKEX).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end clearing and settlement operations across multi-market and multi-asset products, ensuring accurate transfer of funds and securities.
• Lead the Settlement team, set KPIs and drive efficiency via process optimization and STP improvements.
• Coordinate with front-office, risk, finance and external institutions (HKSCC, HKEX, custodians, brokers) to resolve settlement issues.
