Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced IT professional to analyze user requirements and design robust Java-based systems for corporate banking. You will drive development of scalable solutions and ensure alignment with business needs.

The role requires leading development teams, coordinating delivery, and ensuring projects stay on time and within budget while applying best practices in SDLC, agile, and microservices. Proficiency in Chinese and English is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or above in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of solid Java, Spring, and related technologies experience.
• Experience with banking systems and financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze user requirements, produce specifications, and build/enhance applications.
• Supervise or coordinate development teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in development, testing, and provide maintenance support.
• Collaborate with external parties to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Manage project processes, documentation, progress reporting, meetings and escalation.
• Work with business analysts, vendors and other teams on system requirements and design.
