Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the eCommerce EQD IT team. You will build and maintain Java-based applications in a fast-paced, low-latency trading environment on the Smart Derivatives perimeter.

You will work closely with Business Analysts, project teams, and production teams to deliver high-quality solutions and align requirements across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java (17+) core programming with low-latency constraints.
• Experience with Spring (Boot, Cloud Stream).
• Experience using GIT and code reviews.
• Experience with MS SQL or Oracle Server.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Java-based applications for the Smart Derivatives perimeter.
• Take responsibility for successful delivery of solutions.
• Communicate progress with clients and project teams.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to align requirements.
• Work with applications support and production teams, providing 3rd line support as needed.
• Define software architectures and explore existing systems for complexity or risk.
• Work with the central team to define and develop best practices.
