Job summary

DJRecruit Asia is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a Global Fintech Firm in Hong Kong. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable backend services with Spring, coordinating with product teams to deliver new capabilities, and maintaining strong CI/CD and observability across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience crafting enterprise-grade Java backend services, with at least 5 years in Spring.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging pipelines and event-driven topologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Strong RESTful API design using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Deep exposure to distributed microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with FIX messaging protocol is a plus.
• Strong automated testing and QA mindset in iterative environments.
• Expertise across CI/CD toolchains, containerization, and orchestration.
• Knowledge of standard design patterns and enterprise integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems following internal benchmarks.
• Collaborate with product management to conceptualize and ship new capabilities.
• Operate within a CI, rapid-iteration framework and collaborative operations model.
• Partner with site reliability and deployment teams to roll out software increments.
• Engage in proactive telemetry and observability to catch bottlenecks before production.
• Contribute to evolving architecture and performance improvements.
