Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited in Kowloon is seeking a senior software developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and modern web technologies.

You will build scalable backend services with Spring Boot and microservices, develop React.js user interfaces, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute across the full SDLC to ensure performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of software development delivering enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and React.js.
• Proven expertise in designing RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and modern web technologies.
• Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and microservices.
• Develop and enhance user-facing applications with React.js and full-stack technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements.
• Participate in SDLC activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Optimise performance, reliability, and scalability; troubleshoot production issues.
