Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd, in Hong Kong, seeks a (Senior) Manager, IT Governance and Risk Management to oversee technology risk across the insurance domain. You will identify, assess and report IT risk matters supporting informed business decisions.

Lead risk governance with the Technology department, maintain risk registers, monitor indicators, and drive timely mitigation actions to strengthen controls and risk awareness.

Qualifications

• Practical capability in identifying, assessing and documenting IT risks.
• Experience maintaining risk registers, risk assessments and related reporting materials.
• Ability to review technology changes and projects from an IT risk perspective.
• Knowledge of IT controls and how control gaps can affect technology operations.
• Ability to analyse risk information and present clear findings for management review.
• Experience working with Technology teams to track risk mitigation actions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess technology-related risks across relevant systems, processes and projects.
• Maintain IT risk registers and ensure risk information is current, clear and suitable for review.
• Monitor risk indicators and highlight emerging issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare risk reports that support timely management review and decision-making.
• Work with Technology teams to document risk controls and track agreed mitigation actions.
• Review technology changes and projects to identify potential risk impacts before implementation.
• Coordinate follow-up actions for reported IT risk matters and maintain clear status updates.
• Contribute to the continued improvement of IT risk management processes within the Technology department.
