Job summary

Bangkok Bank Public Co Ltd in Hong Kong invites an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Hong Kong Branch. You will manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and backup solutions within a large enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands‑on experience, strong networking and security knowledge, and excellent English and Chinese communication skills. We offer career growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on deployment, administration, and support of Windows/Linux servers and enterprise infrastructure environments.
Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, Remote Desktop Services, virtualization technologies, VPNs, Active Directory, storage systems, and backup/recovery solutions.
Experience with infrastructure and cybersecurity technologies, including IPS, IDS, proxy services, and SIEM platforms.
Familiarity with networking, storage, backup, virtualization, and security solutions from leading vendors is an advantage.
Professional certifications related to server administration, infrastructure management, storage, backup/recovery, networking, or information security are preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as junior position.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, storage systems, and backup/recovery platforms.
Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and system health to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
Perform system upgrades, patch management, firmware updates, and configuration maintenance in accordance with operational standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve server, storage, backup, operating system, and infrastructure-related issues.
Maintain infrastructure monitoring, security controls, and backup/recovery services to support system availability, data protection, and operational resilience.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, standards, procedures, and operational runbooks.
Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to deliver infrastructure enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
