Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to lead IT projects in Investment Products and Wealth Management. You will manage end-to-end processes, collaborate with users and vendors, and drive requirements analysis, design, development, and testing.

The role requires 5+ years of BA or development experience, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and bilingual fluency in Chinese and English; Mandarin is a plus. Candidates with fewer years may be considered for related roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business Studies, CS, or Information Systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in Application Development.
• Experience with investment products or wealth management is a plus.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills are required.
• Fluent Chinese and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Able to adapt to changing business needs and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and implement IT projects for Investment Products and Wealth Management.
• Manage end-to-end project processes including documentation, progress tracking, status reporting, and escalation.
• Collaborate with users, vendors, and cross-functional teams for requirements analysis, effort estimation, design, development, and testing.
• Monitor project progress and communicate milestones and issues to the team.
• Identify dependencies and risks; take proactive measures to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and coordinate with developers or external parties to resolve complex issues.
