Job summary

Centrix Professionals is seeking a Senior Interior Designer / Interior Designer in Hong Kong to work on exciting mixed-use, retail and commercial projects for top-tier clients across Asia Pacific. You will lead space planning, conceptual design, Sketching and technical coordination, and you will mentor a drafting team while collaborating with a dynamic group of designers.

A Degree in Interior Design is required, with 3–5 years of experience in a sizable interior design firm; hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a sizable interior design firm.
• Hands-on experience in Shopping Mall Design.
• Retail & Commercial project experience is highly preferable.
• Strong space planning, conceptual design, sketching, coordination and drawing production.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead documentation of SD/DD drawings and monitor drafting team work.
• Brainstorm with a team of designers to create unique interior designs.
• Work on Mixed-Use, Retail and Commercial projects for top-tier clients.
• Involve in projects across Asia Pacific and assist with client presentations.
• Speak up with insights and be mentored to ensure career progression.

Requirements:

Degree holder in Interior Design or related discipline

At least 3-5 yrs relevant working experience in sizable interior design company

Hands on experience in Shopping Mall Design

Gained in Retail & Commercial projects is highly preferable

Strong experience in space planning / conceptual design / sketching/ technical coordination and drawing production

A passion to be truly creative and a strong desire to work in a team with great designers

Fluent communication skills in English & Chinese

Candidate with less experience will also be considered as Interior Designer
