Job summary

Steve-Leung Designers Ltd is seeking an Interior Designer with a Diploma in Interior or Architectural Design and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, PowerPoint and MS Office, with SketchUp/Bluebeam Revu as advantages, is expected.

Strong hand sketching or 3D skills and the ability to liaise with clients and staff are essential. Kowloon Bay location, 5-day week, with year-end bonus and medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Interior or Architectural Design.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) communication is required.
• Experience in hospitality design is a plus; Senior level for more experience.
• Ability to produce and communicate design through sketches or 3D programs; site work & shop drawing familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Produce and communicate design concepts through hand sketches or 3D programs.
• Review and coordinate production drawings, interior detailing and FF&E packages.
• Support site work reviews and furniture prototype evaluations.
• Interface with clients, consultants, vendors and internal staff to ensure design intent.
• Assist in shop drawing reviews and develop design documentation.

Job description

• Diploma / Degree in Interior or Architectural Design

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience

• Experience in hospitality design for international five-star hotel will be an advantage

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office (Sketchup and Bluebeam Revu will be an advantage)

• Moderate level of experience in design/planning principles and interpretation of design concepts

• Ability to produce and communicate with design team through hand sketch or 3D program is a must

• Site work experiences & furniture prototype review will be an advantage

• Good design ability and knowledge of production drawings, interior detailing, material usage and FF&E package.

• Experience in shop drawing review will be an advantage.

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)

• Customer service skills and comfortable interfacing with clients, consultants, vendors and internal staff will be an advantage.

• Candidates with more experience will be considered for the post of Senior Interior Designer
