Job summary

Asia Insurance is seeking a Financial Analysis and Reporting Manager/Assistant Manager to lead financial analysis, performance insights, and reporting across general insurance lines in Hong Kong. The role collaborates with senior stakeholders and supports regulatory reporting, budgeting, and solvency monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in insurance finance, solid HKFRS 17 knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in insurance financial analysis or auditing.
• Strong knowledge of HKFRS 17 and HKRBC Pillar III reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management reports and dashboards analyzing underwriting performance and profitability by line.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis on equity investments and portfolios.
• Assist HKFRS 17 month-end close, data validation and reconciliations.
• Support group consolidation and external audits.
