Job summary

Hong Kong SAR Oncology Centre Limited is seeking a Senior Specialist - Insurance & Claims to lead group-wide insurance policy design and risk assessment. The role focuses on delivering cost-efficient programs, compliant documentation, and expert advice to internal clients across the organization.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of corporate or industrial insurance experience, professional designations preferred, and fluency in English and Cantonese (Mandarin a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of corporate or industrial insurance experience.
• ACII or Senior Associate ANZIIF preferred.
• Knowledge in complex insurance types (property, construction, automotive, engineering, etc).
• Fluent written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute group-wide insurance policies and design cost-efficient programs aligned with the organization's risk tolerance and asset protection needs.
• Act as an independent advisor to internal clients, evaluating their unique operational risks and delivering targeted insurance solutions.
• Review complex insurance provisions and policy documentation under delegated authority to ensure full compliance, optimal risk transfer, and robust coverage.
• Partner with external brokers and risk consultants to conduct comprehensive liability assessments, contractual reviews, and risk evaluations.
• Contribute to the continuous development and refinement of internal insurance guidelines, policies, and strategic frameworks.
