Job summary

HTK in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned insurance professional to support the Assistant Vice President of Group Insurance, driving strategy across risk management, contract reviews, and claims lifecycle.

You will partner with corporate functions, manage complex renewals, and deliver executive-ready financial insights. Fluency in English and Chinese, plus strong negotiation and presentation skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• ACII, ANZIIF or equivalent professional qualifications preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant corporate insurance or risk management experience in a large enterprise.
• Strong numerical ability to model budgets and analyze cost–risk trade-offs.
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience or keen interest in using AI tools for data visualization and presentations.
• Agility to adapt to evolving business needs.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Advise business units on insurance risk exposure, coverage strategies, and claims management.
• Independently evaluate and negotiate insurance contract terms to protect assets.
• Coordinate with brokers and insurers to secure favorable terms and timely invoicing.
• Lead periodic insurance and engineering site surveys for underwriting outcomes.
• Prepare budget forecasts and executive-level insurance presentations.
• Direct end-to-end renewal underwriting and review policy documentation.
• Oversee the end-to-end claims lifecycle with insurers and loss adjusters.
