Job summary

HKEX is hiring a Technical Project Manager in the Systems & Network Operations Department to lead network and infrastructure projects for Hong Kong's financial markets. You will work with engineering teams, architects, business users and vendors to deliver complex initiatives while managing dependencies, risks, and resources.

Qualified candidates will have a university degree in IT/CS/Engineering and 8+ years in project delivery within financial institutions or large tech organizations, plus

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in project management, infrastructure transformation, or technology delivery.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, particularly enterprise networking.
• Ability to coordinate delivery across multiple teams and manage dependencies.
• Familiarity with structured project management methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans with scope, milestones, budgets, and schedules.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
• Understand infrastructure architectures and dependencies to ensure coordinated planning.
• Plan and optimize project schedules based on technical constraints and resources.
• Coordinate shared resources across concurrent projects and external vendors.
• Build relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and governance.
• Conduct regular project reviews and report status to sponsors and committees.
• Develop and promote project management standards, processes, and tools.
