Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking an experienced network infrastructure leader to co-lead the network function and oversee architecture, strategy, and governance for our mission-critical network infrastructure. You will work with the Vice President of Network Operations to drive performance, reliability, and advanced technical support for HKEX trading and market systems.

Qualifications

University degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related discipline.
15+ years in network infrastructure engineering, architecture and leadership.
Experience with large-scale, highly available networks and mission-critical systems.
Experience collaborating with application teams to optimize performance.
Strong analytical and communication skills and leadership track record.

Responsibilities

Co-lead the network function and set technology strategy with the VP responsible for Network Operations.
Lead the Network Engineering team for design, upgrade, migration, and optimization of HKEX's network.
Define and maintain network architecture standards, governance, roadmaps, and design principles.
Drive strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and tech refresh projects.
Collaborate with application teams to understand traffic patterns and latency requirements.
Lead end-to-end performance engineering to identify latency bottlenecks and improvements.
Provide Level 3 technical leadership and escalation for major incidents and RCAs.
Evaluate emerging technologies and improve resilience, security, and scalability.
