Job summary

Ambition, a leading financial institution in Hong Kong, seeks an accomplished infrastructure leader to drive end-to-end delivery of compute, storage, and backup solutions. You will guide architecture, design, migration, and testing while hands-on contributing to critical implementations.

You will mentor engineers, establish standards, and coordinate with vendors to transform data center capabilities across the APAC region. Strong communication and vendor-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with enterprise-scale delivery.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing technology vendors.
• Strong knowledge of compute, virtualization, storage architecture, and backup technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of compute and storage infrastructure projects, covering servers, virtualization, storage platforms, and backup solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across solution design, build, migration, testing, and implementation.
• Drive infrastructure modernization, platform upgrades, technology refresh, and data center transformation initiatives.
• Review and validate technical designs, implementation plans, and engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate engineering resources and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, issues, and implementation challenges.
• Establish engineering standards, delivery best practices, and automation capabilities.
• Act as the senior technical lead for complex infrastructure implementations and migrations.
• Mentor infrastructure engineers and promote engineering excellence across the team.
