Job summary

Gaw Capital is seeking a Senior Analyst / Associate for the Infrastructure Investment Team based in Hong Kong. The Infrastructure team invests in four key verticals across Asia Pacific: environment management, energy transition, digital infrastructure, and transport and mobility.

The role involves evaluating new opportunities, performing financial modeling, supporting due diligence, preparing investment memoranda and presentations, and assisting with management of existing portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in investment banking, preferably focusing on infrastructure and industrials.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial modeling and valuation analyses to assess potential investment opportunities in infrastructure assets.
• Support the due diligence process, including market research, competitor analysis, and operational assessments of target investments.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with management of existing portfolio companies
• Collaborate with senior team members on deal sourcing, negotiation, and execution of investments.
• Assist in the development of market reports and investment theses related to infrastructure sectors
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors impacting the infrastructure investment landscape.
• Support the team in various ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
