Job summary

FortisHill Consulting seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineering Lead to design and lead infrastructure for performance-sensitive trading and scalable quantitative research workloads. You will work with traders, researchers, and engineers to build reliable, low-latency systems.

This senior role covers data centre, cloud, networking, storage, GPU computing, and automation, driving latency reduction and high availability across production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 15+ years in data centre, infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership/management role.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement infrastructure across servers, storage, networking, and GPU computing.
• Lead latency-sensitive and high-performance engineering for trading workloads.
• Design scalable, reliable infrastructure for production environments.
• Develop automation and IaC using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and Chef.
