G-20 Group in Hong Kong is seeking an Index Options Trader to manage and optimize a discretionary index options portfolio, collaborating with traders, quantitative researchers and developers to enhance pricing models and trading strategies.

The role requires strong options trading background, rigorous risk management of Greeks, and the ability to deliver market‑leading results while contributing to tooling and analytics across the desk.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in options trading and pricing theory.
• Proven track record of generating profits (PnL > $2m annually for 3+ years).
• Experience with quantitative trading and data analysis.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine index options strategies across major indices.
• Analyze market microstructure, order flow, and volatility dynamics.
• Collaborate with quants and developers to improve pricing models and hedges.
• Monitor macro events and policy developments affecting volatility.
• Execute trades with best execution and liquidity management.
• Manage portfolio Greeks and adjust hedges dynamically.
• Contribute to trading infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Monitor performance and risk metrics and provide feedback.
