Job summary

G-20 Group is seeking a Gold and Precious Metals Options Trader in Hong Kong to manage and optimize a discretionary options portfolio. You will work with a team of traders, quants, and developers to enhance pricing models, refine strategies, and drive risk-adjusted returns in a fast-paced market.

The ideal candidate has a proven multi-year PnL track record, deep knowledge of commodities options and volatility trading, and strong data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong background in commodities/precious metals options trading and pricing theory.
• Proven track record of generating profits (PnL > $2m annually) for 3+ years.
• Experience with quantitative trading and data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volatility markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine options trading strategies across precious metals.
• Analyze market microstructure, order flow, and volatility to identify trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with quants and developers to improve pricing models and execution tools.
• Manage portfolio Greeks and adjust hedges as conditions change.
• Monitor risk and ensure best execution across listed, OTC, and physical/spot markets.
• Contribute to trading infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Stay informed on macro data, policy, and safe-haven demand.
