Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong is seeking a Guest Service Agent to provide warm, efficient service at our Sai Ying Pun property. You will answer calls, assist guests with information on room features, local areas, and services, and help resolve requests to ensure a memorable stay.

Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin preferred; strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure; hospitality degree or diploma; hotel experience, especially in F&B, is a plus.

Qualifications

• Good spoken, written and reading ability in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Proactive, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Degree or diploma holder of Hospitality or related studies.
• Previous hotel related working experience (especially in F&B) is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Operate telephone switchboard and answer guest calls.
• Provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local areas of interest.
• Process requests and assist guests to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
• Log guest requests into computer and coordinate with departments to fulfill them.
• Inform guests of messages and forward as required.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
