Job summary

CICC in Hong Kong seeks an experienced equity research professional focused on the global semiconductor sector. You will cover the supply chain, identify investment opportunities globally, and support portfolio managers onshore and offshore.

Responsibilities include conducting bottom-up research, building financial models, writing investment reports, and presenting ideas to PMs and clients. Strong Mandarin and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above; CFA is considered favorably.
• Minimum of 5 years of fundamental equity research experience on semiconductor industry; exceptional candidates with less than 5 years can be considered.
• Candidates with global equities experience will be highly appreciated.
• Upright, humble, diligent with high moral values.

Responsibilities

• Cover global semiconductor supply chain, with a focus on Chinese and US companies; identify investment opportunities from a global perspective.
• Support AM portfolio managers, onshore and offshore, by actively providing stock ideas and insights; interact with onshore analysts on global semiconductor trends.
• Conduct in-depth bottom-up fundamental research on companies, build financial models, and write investment reports.
• Present investment ideas to portfolio managers through meetings and presentations.
• Communicate industry themes and investment ideas with clients and internal sales team.
