Job summary

OSL, Asia's leading SFC-licensed digital asset platform, is hiring a senior regulatory lawyer in Hong Kong to lead licensing strategy, regulator engagement, and governance across global markets. You will steer submissions, renewals, and strategic filings while shaping regulatory risk frameworks.

You will also collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Risk to ensure compliant cross-border operations, draft regulatory agreements, and mentor a small legal team as the company expands across multiple

Qualifications

8+ years post-qualification experience at top international law firms or leading tech/fintech companies.
Experience with financial services, payment, or digital asset licenses.
Deep knowledge of global payment regulations and central bank rules.
Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Lead Licensing Strategy: drive licensing submissions, renewals, and regulatory filings globally.
Regulator Engagement: act as primary liaison with regulators and external counsel.
Regulatory Governance: advise leadership on risk and expansion boundaries.
Cross-Border Compliance: align business models with local laws in collaboration with product and risk.
Commercial Support: draft and negotiate regulatory-driven agreements and contracts.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: manage 1–2 junior legal professionals and guide growth.
