Job summary

Hasbro Far East Limited is seeking a seasoned Costing Manager to lead the Costing Analysts for the assigned product category within the Global Sourcing Team. You will shape the global strategy, design the supplier network and drive cost transparency across cross-functional teams in Product Development, Quality and Finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience in costing, manufacturing engineering and/or sourcing roles with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Technical degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Finance and/or a Product Costing related discipline.
• Practical knowledge of factory rates, time studies, product costing, and local wages & benefits.
• Knowledge of cost drivers for Toy & Games manufacturing: molding, decoration, assembly, pack-out; materials like resins, packaging, paint, electronics.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Approximately 20% travel to regional factories.

Responsibilities

• Define global sourcing strategy and design the supplier network for the assigned category.
• Lead regional implementation and execution of the Global Sourcing Strategy.
• Lead the costing team: set goals, manage performance, ensure compliance, coach staff.
• Provide 'Should Be' costs for New Product Development, Refresh and Carry Forward items.
• Refine cost models using latest data, benchmarks and factory rates.
• Provide regional cost benchmarking and landed-cost analysis for sourcing allocation.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Quality, Finance and Planning to ensure cost transparency.
• Lead costing during Product Development to meet targets.
• Coordinate supplier quote submissions, negotiations, and uploads into Hasbro costing systems.
• Offer technical support to suppliers on Hasbro costing systems (P2M, PQS, E-connect).
• Serve as focal point for product costing issues between Hasbro and suppliers.
• Participate in Annual Cost Reduction (ACR) with suppliers; negotiate factory rates.
• Support productivity initiatives across Industrial Engineering, Global Sourcing and Product Development.
• Frequent factory visits for reality checks and supplier evaluations.
