Job summary

Adecco's client, a well-known Chinese bank in Hong Kong, is seeking a Senior Officer with bank experience in General Ledger, Accounting, system improvement and UAT.

You will prepare materials for meetings with senior management and service providers, participate in system development and UAT for new accounting systems, and help streamline processes by reviewing workflows, updating procedures, manuals and training materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' banking experience.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in general ledger, accounting, and UAT.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and local banking practice.
• Proficient in Chinese (Putonghua) and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for meeting with senior management, business units and service providers.
• Participate in system development and user acceptance tests of new accounting systems.
• Participate in streamline processes through review of workflow and procedures, as well as prepare and update procedures, manuals and training materials.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling expense payments, daily general ledger and month-end closing.
