Job summary

Qeelin Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager (Data Management & Analysis) to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the brand's stores and markets.

You will consolidate profitability, prepare variance analyses, and support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Strong data skills in MS Excel and D365, plus bilingual English/Chinese, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in management reporting or FP&A in retail/luxury preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to link metrics to performance.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; report building required.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis, monthly reporting, variance analysis.
• Prepare store and market performance reviews against budgets.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Generate monthly management reports and capex analysis.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Shared-Service Finance for reconciliations.
• Maintain the Agreements register and coordinate ad hoc analyses.

How you will contribute

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Calculate monthly stock provisions, consolidate margin adjustments, and analyze profitability and capital expenditures.

Provide a comprehensive overview of store and various market performance, and compare financial results against budgets and forecasts.

Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis, and financial performance reviews.

Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

Sales and Inventory Management:

Prepare monthly sales reports and conduct rolling forecasts to ensure accurate inventory management.

Collaboration and Reconciliation:

Collaborate with Marketing and Communication Teams to reconcile expenses and liaise with the Market Shared-Service Finance Department for reporting.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain the Agreements register and manage ad hoc assignments involving various projects and analyses.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Qualified Accountant is preferred
• Minimum 4 years of experience in management reporting, FP&A or similar function, ideally gained from sizable retail/luxury organization
• Proficient in MS Office, previous exposure in D365 is preferred
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong ability to understand business data, assess metrics and link analyses to performance in order to acknowledge and impact behavioral changes
• Good communication skill, independent, well organized, detailed oriented as well as a good team player
• Responsible and able to work under pressure with tight deadline
• Candidates with more extensive relevant experience may be considered for Assistant Manager position.
