GMI Computing Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including consolidation for multiple entities and HKFRS compliance. You will manage AP/AR processes, review employee expenses, and lead month-end closing while ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations.
The role requires a CPA/ACCA/HKICPA qualification with 10+ years in accounting/finance and at least 5 years in a leadership position.
The Senior Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage AP/AR functions, review employee expenses, and lead month-end closing, including multi-entity consolidation. This role ensures full compliance with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and statutory requirements.
Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes across multiple legal entities.
Prepare consolidated financial statements, intercompany eliminations, and reconciliation schedules.
Manage trial balance, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Oversee vendor payments, trade payables, and cash flow forecasting.
Supervise AR invoicing, collection tracking, and aging analysis to minimize credit risk.
Maintain bank relationships, bank reconciliations, and multi-currency treasury management.
Review and approve employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to corporate travel and expense policies.
Implement audit controls to identify non-compliant claims and streamline the reimbursement workflow.
Coordinate payroll accounting and MPF administration with HR.
Act as the first point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits.
Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows across ERP and reporting systems.
Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. CPA / ACCA / HKICPA qualification required.
Experience: 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a manager or team lead role.
Technical Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in group consolidation across multiple legal entities and multi-currency environments. Strong working knowledge of HKFRS and HK tax regulations.
Systems: Hands-on experience with ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Xero) and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
Languages: Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
