Job summary

GMI Cloud is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, multi-entity consolidation, and month-end close with HKFRS compliance. You will lead AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting while coordinating with auditors.

Applicants should have 10+ years in accounting, a professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/HKICPA), and strong ERP experience (NetSuite/SAP/Oracle/Xero). Cantonese and English fluency required; Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• CPA/ACCA/HKICPA or equivalent.
• 10+ years in accounting/finance with at least 5 in a managerial role.
• Hands-on consolidation experience across multiple legal entities and multi-currency environments.
• Strong HKFRS knowledge and HK tax regulations.
• ERP experience (NetSuite/SAP/Oracle/Xero) and advanced Excel.

Job description

The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage AP/AR functions, review employee expenses, and lead month-end closing, including multi-entity consolidation. This role ensures full compliance with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Closing & Entity Consolidation
• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes across multiple legal entities.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, intercompany eliminations, and reconciliation schedules.
• Manage trial balance, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Oversee vendor payments, trade payables, and cash flow forecasting.
• Supervise AR invoicing, collection tracking, and aging analysis to minimize credit risk.
• Maintain bank relationships, bank reconciliations, and multi-currency treasury management.
• Employee Reimbursement & Compliance
• Review and approve employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to corporate travel and expense policies.
• Implement audit controls to identify non-compliant claims and streamline the reimbursement workflow.
• Coordinate payroll accounting and MPF administration with HR.
• Audit, Governance & Process Improvement
• Act as the first point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows across ERP and reporting systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. CPA / ACCA / HKICPA qualification required.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a manager or team lead role.
• Technical Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in group consolidation across multiple legal entities and multi-currency environments. Strong working knowledge of HKFRS and HK tax regulations.
• Systems: Hands-on experience with ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Xero) and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
• Languages: Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
