Job summary

Leadingnation, a Hong Kong-listed technology group with global operations, seeks a senior finance professional to join our management team in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead the Finance department and oversee planning, compliance and internal controls.

You will bring HKICPA membership, 10+ years in finance with at least 5 years in management, and a track record in manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent with a university degree.
• 10+ years of finance experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Manufacturing operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting & forecasting, cash flow, reporting to auditors and statutory filings.
• Support business decisions with financial insights and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure listing-rule compliance and participate in corporate transactions.
• Review agency, distributor, purchase orders and sales contracts.

Job description

We are a group listed in Hong Kong and are principally engaged in technology development and manufacturing of electroplating equipment with businesses across the world. Based in Hong Kong with offices in Shenzhen, Suzhou, Taiwan and South East Asia. A need has arisen to recruit a talented finance professional to join our management team in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage the Finance department with key responsibilities of:-

• For finance & accounting activities : financial planning, budgeting & forecasting, cash flow management, statutory & financial management reporting, and liaison with both internal and external auditors. You will also take the lead to support the businesses in achieving company targets, support decision making on financial and tax planning matters, as well as implementing accounting policies and internal control;

• Full compliance of listing rules and be part of teammate in any corporation transactions;

• Review and comment on legal documents, to name a few, agency agreement, distributor agreement, purchase order, sales contract;

• Support board members in effective collaborations with all parties across organization to achieve business goals and objectives.

Besides the duties of operational control, the ideal candidate must demonstrate:

1. With business acumen and strong analytical skills

2. An assertive personality, an excellent communicator and strong people management skills

3. Excellent command in spoken English and Mandarin

4. Advanced proficiency in financial software systems (ERP) and expert-level Excel skills.

You will be a qualified member of HKICPA / other recognised accounting body with a university degree and over 10 years experience with minimum 5 years in a managerial role. Proven track record in operations of manufacturing environment is preferred. You will be based in Hong Kong but occasional travel is required.

While this is a senior post, when attending our interview, you are required to conduct a test. It is meant to reduce expectation gap after on-boarding.
