Job summary

Michael Page (Hong Kong) is recruiting a Finance Manager to support our client's expansion in Hong Kong. The role leads financial planning, analysis, and the preparation of management and statutory reports, while overseeing financial operations of development and investment projects.

Qualifications

• 10 years of accounting and finance experience.
• At least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience with listed PRC real estate development and/or property investment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HK and Mainland China accounting standards, taxation, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiar with finance ERP systems (Xero, ABSS, Yongyou) and adaptable to new systems.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis and oversee management and statutory reports.
• Manage financial operations of development and investment projects with cost control and deadlines.
• Partner with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions.
• Identify and mitigate financial and project risks; implement corrective actions.
• Oversee audit, tax compliance, and statutory reporting in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
• Liaise with auditors, bankers, lawyers, investors, and regulators.
• Lead and develop the finance team and collaborate across departments for timely close.
