Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Finance Manager to lead the end-to-end accounting function, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, and project finance analysis in a fast-paced multinational environment.

You will oversee audits, tax compliance, and daily finance operations, ensuring strong internal controls and timely reporting while working with cross-functional teams across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 5+ years of accounting and finance experience, with Big 4 audit and commercial exposure.
• Solid understanding of HKFRS and Hong Kong tax regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication; ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting function, ensuring accurate month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and project financial performance to support business planning and decision-making.
• Manage statutory audits for subsidiaries and joint ventures, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance, including income tax computations and statutory filings.
• Lead accounts payable and daily finance operations while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance standards.
• Drive process enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and finance workflows.
• Support business projects and undertake ad hoc financial analysis as required by management.
