Job summary

Michael Page Hong Kong is recruiting for a well-established multinational client for a senior FP&A role. The position leads budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis to support strategic decisions across regional markets.

The successful applicant will develop financial models, partner with commercial teams, and deliver presentations to senior management. Strong Excel/ERP skills and Cantonese/Mandarin fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant FP&A, management reporting, and financial analysis experience.
• Experience in a sizable multinational organisation or Big 4 is highly preferred.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with ability to translate data into business insights.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ERP and financial reporting systems experience is advantageous.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese/Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, and performance commentary.
• Analyse actual results versus budget and forecast, highlighting variances and key business drivers.
• Support period-end reporting, consolidation, and management review.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to aid planning and investment decisions.
• Partner with operations to provide commercial insights and recommendations.
• Prepare financial presentations and decision-support materials for senior management.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs and provide actionable insights.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes, systems, and analytics tools.
• Support ad hoc commercial analyses and strategic projects.
