Job summary

TALENT HUB ADVISORY LIMITED is seeking a Senior Fibre Masterbatch Production Engineer / Production Line Specialist in Hong Kong. The role focuses on establishing, optimising and stabilising industrial production of fibre-grade masterbatch, with emphasis on ultrafine inorganic-powder dispersion, extrusion performance and quality indicators for high-speed downstream spinning.

Qualifications

• .Master’s degree in Polymer Materials and Engineering or closely related field.
• Exceptional bachelor's-degree candidates may be considered.
• 3–5+ years of frontline production technology or process engineering in fibre masterbatch manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Design, commission and optimise production lines for fibre-grade masterbatch using PET, PA6, PA66 and related resins.
• Lead optimisation of nano- and sub-micron dispersion of TiO2 and other powders with controlled shear in twin-screw extruders.
• Control and improve indicators like DF/PFV, moisture and particle-size for high-speed spinning suitability.
• Resolve scale-up and issues such as melt-pressure fluctuations, strand breakage and screen-pack plugging during spinning trials.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, process cards and procedures for mixing, cleaning and line transitions.
