Job summary

West Kowloon Cultural District Authority seeks a Senior Solution Architect to drive enterprise architecture, cloud strategies, and API-led designs for multi‑system initiatives. You will translate complex business needs into practical architecture, lead governance, and mentor teams across platforms.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to ensure scalable, reusable patterns aligned with enterprise standards and ADRs, delivering pragmatic, long‑term outcomes.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science/information systems or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years IT experience with 5+ years in solution architecture.
• Experience in API and large-scale programmes across systems.
• Strong understanding of integration across platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud-based architecture aligned to standards.
• Familiar with TOGAF and enterprise architecture patterns.
• Ability to translate business needs into architectural direction.
• Experience collaborating with technical SMEs and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to explore demand at pre-prioritisation.
• Develop high-level and conceptual solution designs for multi‑system initiatives.
• Evaluate options with rationale and drive fit-for-purpose decisions.
• Provide architectural guidance aligned with standards and ADRs.
• Ensure designs are scalable, cohesive, and aligned with EA principles.
• Work with cloud, network, and security SMEs to inform designs.
• Contribute to architecture governance and design reviews.
• Document architecture decisions and patterns for reuse.
• Stay updated on trends in data, cloud, and AI applications.
• Translate business needs into clear architectural direction and recommendations.
