Job summary

Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council Limited is seeking an experienced professional to assist the Project Manager / Estate Manager in executing condition surveys, feasibility studies, planning, budgeting, and coordination for A&A and E&M projects in our facilities.

The role involves design reviews, tender management, and supervision of both external consultants and in-house technicians, with a focus on energy efficiency, safety audits, and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years' relevant experience with at least 3 years in supervision.
• Experience in operation, repair and maintenance of building services; E&M project management.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office tools.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing condition surveys, feasibility studies, planning, budgeting, coordination, site supervision and execution of property A&A projects, renovation and improvements works in terms of E&M aspects.
• Prepare design criteria, technical drawings, specifications, tender documents, requesting for quotations and monitoring work progress for A&A projects, renovation and maintenance works.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, landlords, consultants, operation team, contractors, suppliers, in-house technicians and other relevant parties.
• Review all E&M designs and outputs as prepared by external consultants and provide recommendations to the project team.
• Support and plan maintenance activities for building facilities including managing sustainability issues such as energy saving strategies, monitoring energy consumption, preparing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) plan and emergency handling plan, carrying out technical and safety audits, and monitoring of expenditure with alignment to the prevailing rules and procedures of our council.
• Monitor working progress and quality work performed by contractors and in-house technicians to ensure timely and orderly completion of tasks.
• Attend emergency standby calls during non-office hours for maintaining smooth and safe operations of different Service Units.
• Other duties as may from time to time be assigned by his/her superior(s).
