Job summary

OKX is seeking a senior AI leader to work directly with the CEO and executive team to define how AI should reshape OKX across business, product, and operations. This role combines AI expertise, business judgment, product thinking and transformation leadership to identify high-value opportunities, shape the company-wide AI roadmap, and turn strategy into measurable outcomes.

• Proven ability to take ambiguous opportunities from strategy to execution, rather than stopping at recommendations or prototypes.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence across Product, Engineering, business and functional teams without relying on direct authority.
• Experience in fintech, payments, crypto, consumer technology or other regulated environments is highly valued.

About the Opportunity

AI is becoming a fundamental layer of how OKX builds products, operates at scale, and serves users.

We are looking for a senior AI leader to work directly with the CEO and executive leadership team to define how AI should reshape OKX — across business, product, and operations.

This is not a pure research or engineering leadership role. The successful candidate will combine AI expertise, business judgment, product thinking, and transformation leadership to identify the highest-value opportunities, shape the company-wide AI roadmap, and turn strategy into measurable outcomes.

You will work across Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Marketing, Finance, HR and other functions, and build the operating model, capabilities, partnerships and resources required to move AI initiatives from idea to production and scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Shape OKX’s AI Strategy

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to define how AI can reshape OKX’s products, customer experience, business model and operations.
• Build and manage the company-wide AI roadmap and portfolio, prioritizing opportunities based on strategic value, business impact, feasibility and risk.
• Translate emerging AI developments into actionable business decisions, including build / buy / partner choices and strategic partnerships.

2. Turn Strategy into Business Impact

• Partner with Product, Engineering and business functions to take high-value AI opportunities from problem definition and business case through pilot, production and scale.
• Build the right delivery model and mobilize internal teams, AI specialists and external partners to execute.
• Provide sufficient technical leadership to challenge solution architecture, evaluate AI technologies and ensure systems are production-ready, scalable and measurable.
• Measure success through business outcomes including revenue, customer experience, productivity, cost and risk reduction.

3. Build Company-wide AI Capability

• Establish the operating model, governance and AI Center of Excellence needed to scale AI across OKX.
• Create a structured process for business units to identify, prioritize and execute AI use cases.
• Drive AI enablement across leadership, product, engineering, operations and corporate functions.
• Build reusable AI capabilities, playbooks and talent strategies so successful initiatives can scale across the organization.
