Job summary

OKX is seeking a Senior Director of AI to lead a high-caliber AI team and shape autonomous agent products. You will drive technical direction, evaluate frameworks, and ensure delivery from design to production, with strong emphasis on measurable business impact.

The role requires deep expertise in LLMs, generative AI, and end‑to‑end product delivery, along with Mandarin and English fluency to coordinate across global teams. A dynamic crypto/fintech environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 10+ years of AI/ML research, productization, or platform development at global tech companies.
• Deep expertise in LLMs and Generative AI, deep learning, RL, and recommendation systems.
• Proven track record translating AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
• End-to-end delivery experience with autonomous AI Agent products from inception to production.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI into engineering workflows and developer tools.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English for cross-regional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and develop a team of AI engineers and researchers; own hiring, growth, and performance.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of autonomous AI Agent products from requirements and architecture through production operations.
• Establish benchmark-driven evaluation frameworks with quantifiable quality signals.
• Design and implement end-to-end Agent Harness infrastructure for stability in real-world scenarios.
• Orchestrate creative reasoning steps with guardrails to balance flexibility and control.
• Embed AI Agent capabilities into core products and engineering pipelines to boost productivity and value.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align technical direction with strategy.
