Job summary

AIA is seeking a senior actuary with extensive life insurance experience to govern and execute actuarial system changes across IFRS17, EV reporting, Economic Capital and budgeting for all BUs. You will align model risk policies and support governance committees while coordinating with IT and business units.

The role requires strong data and analytics skills, excellent communication, and proven leadership in complex projects within a global insurer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in life insurance industry.
• 8 years of management experience.
• Qualified actuary or equivalent.
• Proficient in Prophet, Excel, Alteryx, Python, Power BI or PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Govern, manage and execute the actuarial system change.
• Align the actuarial model risk policy to enhance governance.
• Support model governance with stakeholders to prioritize changes.
• Manage the model production and resolve production issues.
• Work with IT to ensure smooth production and data integrity.
• Train up Prophet experts in LBU and support training programs.
