Funko, Inc. in Hong Kong is seeking a Direct Ship Specialist reporting to the Assistant Manager, Direct Ship. The role focuses on order management, shipment planning, and daily communication with partners and customers across regions.

You will coordinate with sales, factories and forwarders to ensure timely bookings, prepare shipping documents, resolve issues, and support ad hoc projects. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required; travel to China or other regions may be needed.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in a similar role, preferably in toys.
• Strong knowledge of shipment planning and order management.
• Experience in international manufacturers is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsabilidades

• Cross-check documents with ERP/forwarder portals.
• Travel to China or offshore locations as needed.

Role Purpose

Reporting to the Direct Ship Asst. Manager / Direct Ship Manager: this role is responsible for order management, shipment planning, and day-to-day communication with US, EMEA, Asia & Oceania partners, global customers, forwarders and vendors in Asia.

What You’ll Do:

• Preparation of various order documents, e.g., Factory PO and Sales Order management, vendor registration documents.
• Overseeing & organizing pre-production scheduling, customer's inspection issues, product development changes, and customer's factory audit issues.
• Set and communicate clear priorities and goals and translate them into actionable and pragmatic deliverables.
• Serve as customer account service, independently providing quality service to Direct Import customers.
• Coordinate with the internal relative teams to solve any issues to avoid shipment delays.
• Responsible for addressing customer inquiries and handling customer complaints.
• Collaborate closely & independently with the sales teams and factories to solve shipment issues.
• Pull in shipments to maximize monthly shipping volume and quarterly revenue.
• Closely monitor factories to ensure the booking is timely and shipping documents are submitted according to specific time frames.
• Liaise with forwarders to get vessel space and prioritize our shipments, elevate, and discuss with the sales team and customer services team if necessary.
• Cross-check & make sure all shipping documents are aligned with the actual shipment and update in the ERP system, the forwarder portal or 3PL system.
• Support Ad Hoc projects assigned by the Direct Ship Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Travel is required within this role to China or offshore countries in need.
• Be flexible about participating in the conference call with our regional offices in the US and UK outside of office hours.
• Willing to share and balance the workload across the teams.
• Good time management to complete all assignments in a timely manner.
• Accomplish the corporate initiative in conjunction with cross-functional teams across regional offices.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role preferably in the toys industry.
• Strong knowledge of shipment planning and order management.
• Experience working in an international company or manufacturer for international brands is preferred.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Effective calendar management in an International Brand.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
• Good team player and willing to work under pressure.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
