Job summary

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority seeks a Senior Design Manager to lead architectural, interior, and landscape design for WestK projects. You will guide design consultants, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant design deliverables across strategy to construction.

Strong leadership, HK regulatory knowledge, and hands-on BIM proficiency are essential, as is extensive experience in large-scale, complex infrastructure or cultural projects within

Qualifications

• A recognized university degree or master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or related discipline.
• Member of HKIA or equivalent professional institution; Registered Architect in HK.
• Authorized Person (Architect) or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience in design and management of large-scale/multi-disciplinary projects, 8 years in senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural, interior, and landscape design processes for projects across WestK.
• Vet and review design submissions to ensure alignment with project intent and standards.
• Resolve design, construction, and interface issues with consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate design teams to meet cost, quality, and time targets.
• Ensure BIM and design coordination are applied throughout project delivery.
